Intertise VisionCast™
software runs the Value Vision Network, Pet Vision Network and any
proprietary in-store network implementations. Digital Signage, to
be effective, must utilize flexible, powerful and reliable software.
We built VisionCast™ from the ground up, after reviewing dozens of
products already on the market, to ensure it could be used to power
our own networks, as well as in-store networks and support franchising
opportunities. We also built it to be totally flexible, easy to use
and maintain.

What is required to
run a digital signage network and how complicated is it? This is THE
question we get from our customers, so we've outlined below how the
software works and what it's main features and capabilities are. There
are a number of key components that are required to work in sync to
make Digital Signage work and as you'll see, our VisionCast™ software
suite covers all your needs. Below is a high level look at the software
components and where they run in each key part of our networks.
First, the software
that runs on each location player (PC), is preloaded or can be installed
on any standard PC running the Microsoft Windows XP Professional or
Home operating system with some configuration setting adjustments.
The first component is the Intertise Media Player. This software runs
the ads and other content FULL SCREEN and in the foreground (always
on top), repeatedly and real time, so changes that take place in the
background are seamlessly integrated into what the customer sees without
interruption. Intertise Media Player can also be customized with different
skins and screen sections, so you add other content, scrolling marquees
and permanent logos. Intertise Media Player is also responsible
for tracking, counting and reporting the ads and content it plays
for reporting purposes.
The second piece of
software that runs on the location player PC is Intertise Download
Manager. This software is responsible for communication, scheduling,
running the Intertise Media Player, logging all activity and creating
the instruction files for Intertise Media Player.
Our back office software
runs on our Media Server and is used to setup and maintain locations
and advertisers, setup schedules and instruction files that Intertise
Download Manager reads. It manages the log files from each location
PC which are uploaded at connection time and creates all statistical
and management reporting. It also allows our Creative team to setup
and preview ads and it manages other integrated content.

Download Manager – Installed at each location, connects
to a central server for instructions. Automatically downloads
& plays ads, reports problems, logs all activity and manages
connectivity. Sets up ads and play times for Intertise Media Player.

Media Player – Continuously plays ads for each location,
based on instructions and times from Intertise Download Manager.

Intertise Configuration
Manager - Used to quickly and easily configure PC's to access
the network and use Intertise Download Manager and Intertise Media
Player.

Ad Manager – Used to test, play and publish ads, uploads
ads to the Intertise Media Server, sets schedules by location,
by advertiser and manages instruction files for Intertise Download
Manager. Allows Network Operators to setup locations and content
reels and manage ads and schedules. Provides a streamlined, comprehensive
content management capability.

Intertise
Report Manager – Compiles location and advertiser statistics
and revenue reports. Used to interrogate audit logs for problem
research and resolution. Provides Operations, Tech Support, Creative
and Sales departments with internal reports via a web based control
panel (imagine a cock pit) that shows each location, connectivity
status, activity, problems, etc.
